14th November 2007 - Reservoir Reflections and Canada Geese

This was a fabulous day - clear bright skies with sunshine, although fairly cold, when out and about.

Patch and I went for a short patrol, up towards the Loch Thom dam, alongside the Compensation Reservoir [in the hills above Greenock].

There was a large flock of Canada Geese in the channel below the dam which leads to the compensation reservoir.
As we walked up the lochside,

some of the geese headed towards the reservoir, past us.

The water was so still, I couldn't help but take some photos to show the reflections.

It was still beautiful, at the end of the day, and I stopped on the old Largs road to take a view back northwards, across Loch Thom, and westwards towards the sunset.
